The following screen shots indicate the typical installation and configuration sequence
for the Dialogic System Release 5 software under Win 2000.
NOTE: These instructions are offered as a guide only. Please contact Dialogic for
additional information and any changes. Please be aware that these instructions represent
just one install method and may not be suitable for all machines and software
configurations. VISI assumes no liability in publishing these instructions, which people
may choose to follow at their own risk. As always, it's a good idea to make a backup of
any critical files before proceeding. VISI is not liable for any outcomes different than
that observed at our facilities.
Section 1: Initial Dialogic Install

1) Run the Dialogic SR5 program and select the "custom" installation option.

2) Make certain that the TAPI component of the Dialogic drivers is selected as part of
the install.

Finish the installation according the to the on screen instructions and then refer to
the following screen images for final configuration of Dialogic SR5 drivers for use with
VINFO's VFEdit© program.

Section 2: Dialogic Board Configuration
********************************************************


1) Select and open the "Add\Remove Hardware" app from your systems Control
Panel.
********************************************************

2) Hit the "Next" button.
********************************************************

3) Select the "Add\Troubleshoot a Device" option and hit the "Next"
button.
********************************************************

Wait for Windows to finish searching your system and then proceed.

4) Highlight the "Add a New Device" selection (at the top of the list) and
hit the "Next" button.

5) Select the "No" option and hit the "Next" button.
********************************************************

6) Highlight the "Sound, Video & Game Controllers" option and hit the
"Next" button.
********************************************************

7) Hit the "Have Disk" button without highlighting any particular
selection.
********************************************************

8) Hit the "Browse" button to select the location of the Dialogic drivers.

(Note: the above is just a sample of a typical location.)

9) Once the location of the drivers is selected hit the "OK" button.

10) Continue past this warning by hitting the "Yes" button.
********************************************************

11) Highlight the "Dialogic Wave" driver and hit the "Next" button.
********************************************************

12) Hit the "Next" button to install the Dialogic Wave driver.
********************************************************

13) Continue past this warning by hitting the "Yes" button.
********************************************************

14) Continue past the Dialogic Wave Driver Configuration screen by hitting the
"OK" button

15) Finalize the driver installation by hitting the "Finish" button.

Section 3: Dialogic Board Final Initialization
Initialize and configure the Dialogic card according to the instructions available on
the online VFEdit Manual (Appendix C:
Steps 3 & 4)
